David Duchovny is an American actor, singer, producer, director and novelist. He was born on 7 August 1960 in New York, USA.
He is best known for his roles as FBI Agent Fox Mulder in the sci-fi television series, The X-Files (1993-2002) which has since seen a revival in 2016, due to popular demand, and as Hank Moody in the comedy-drama television series, Californication (2007-14). He has also took to writing, publishing his first book in 2015 and has recently published his second. Plus he released his first album in 2015, called Hell or Highwater.
