Elijah Wood is an American actor and film producer. He was born on 28 January 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA.

He made his film debut, in a minor role, on Back to the Future: Part II (1989) and went on to appear and star in many television and film projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-03), Ryan Newman in Wilfred (2011-14) and Todd Brotzman in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016-17). He has also provided his voice as Frodo for The Lord of the Rings video games (2002-06) and Spyro in the Legend of Spyro trilogy (2006-08). Some of his other acting work includes:-
